Ambassador Committee

Purpose

Meet with elected officials in Terrebonne, Lafourche, and St. Mary parishes; build relationships with these officials and hold them accountable to the Louisiana State and U.S. constitutions.

Accomplishments to-date:

We’ve built good relationships with our sheriff, parish president, chief of police and our local state representatives and senators in Terrebonne Parish.
Monthly WTPBC newsletter sent to partners/members.
Monthly mixers in Terrebonne, Lafourche, and St. Mary parishes.
Two Town Hall meetings, since our inception.

Goals:
Establishing Ambassador Committees in Lafourche and St. Mary parishes to begin building relationships and strengthening accountability with the elected officials in these parishes.

Needs:
New committee members for Lafourche & St. Mary parish committees.

Committee members should have an interest in getting to know elected officials and be willing to have honest, difficult conversations when necessary.
