About Us

Our History

As God called and prepared our founding fathers to draft our Declaration of Independence and Bill of Rights, He also called us to stand strong for the inalienable rights secured in those documents. In October of 2021, as we were experiencing the unconstitutional COVID mandates along with media censorship which was hindering our ministry, we formed a 501(c)(3) organization named “We The People Bayou Community.”

We are a tri-parish organization which includes Terrebonne, Lafourche and St. Mary parishes. Local action has national impact. Beginning in 2021 in our stand against the unconstitutional Covid mandates, we allied with elected officials, medical and legal representatives to work with employees and students to help them understand their rights to exemptions and provided exemption forms.


Since its inception, We The People Bayou Community has: hosted monthly mixers providing information to our community, maintained a presence at School Board and state legislative committee meetings on government overreach, election integrity, unconstitutional mandates, protecting the innocence of children, and more.

We have developed relationships with elected officials, recruited Constitutional candidates, hosted voter seminars and candidate forums, recruited poll commissioners, and we have taken part in voter canvassing to clean up our voter rolls."
